Whatever the previous normal was, it is no more. It will be years before there’s anything like could be ‘normal’. Normal, according to Webster, is conforming to a type, standard, or regular pattern. It will take time to create a new pattern. So for a while, we’ll all be in liminal, which is a threshold between two different worlds.
Do what you regularly do. Houses still have to be cleaned, clothes still have to washed, yards (if you have one) still have to be looked after. If you’re not working and not looking after a houseful of kids, take up a new hobby. Is there something you always wanted to do but never had the time? Do it now, if at all possible. You can order just about anything on line. And you can always clean out all your drawers, cabinets, and closets.
